Puppy Tool Box

Puppy Tool Box includes exposure to new people, places and things as well as other puppies. We cover handling, basic skills and socialization in a safe, enriching environment. This class supports both puppies and their humans in learning the best ways to communicate with each other and navigate the world. Good communication and skills make for better behaved dogs, this is not your average Puppy Class!

This class is NOT an obedience class, but is designed to identity issues and create a stable, non fearful and happy puppy while starting them and their owners on the way with basic tools to build into skills for life.

Class is limited to 6 puppies ages 8-16 weeks Puppies must have been vet checked, had at least one puppy vax AND been in their homes at least ten days. Yes your puppy can attend well run classes SAFELY with one vaccine. Please see the AVSAB position statement on socializationAVSAB

6 classes and one LIVE virtual class Zoom session to go over concerns, problems and puppy behaviour! This is where you can ask your questions about all things puppy!

Curriculum includes: Games and Skills focused on preventing problem behaviours like Resource Guarding, Handling and Grooming Issues, Greetings, Fear and Anxiety through proper positive socialization as well as basic Leash skills, Mat skills and Recall skills. This class is for people who really want to set their puppy up to be a good canine citizen and is a great resource for all puppy owners, experienced or new!

6 weeks and a Bonus Group Zoom to cover all the Puppy and Behaviour Questions puppy parents have!

In Person Group classes $350 Registration is open for class but will be run only if there are at least 3 puppies to attend.

Your puppy is at a prime time to learn and develop confidence and skills. This is where the foundation for a safe, fun dog starts. This is NOT your average puppy class!

Come learn in a fun class how to have a good canine citizen in today’s world that is both happy and safe!


Teenage Meltdown‍ ‍

Teenage Meltdown class is for puppies and adult dogs 5 months and older. It focuses on understanding why our pups are suddenly so different and what to do to help them through adolescence safely while keeping YOU sane! Focus, self control, relaxation and basic skills like Loose Leash Walking, Recall and “Leave It” and “Drop It” are all part of the curriculum. This class requires focus and attention to homework to progresss as each class builds on skills learned in the previous one.

The class includes 6 weekly sessions and 5 weekly zoom meetings.

A total of 11 hours of training and learning for dog and human. There is a prerequisite, short, recorded Webinar before the first class starts.

In Person group: 6 weeks $450 Limit of Six Dogs

This class will help you get through one of the toughest developmental stages your young or impulsive dog unscathed and with a positive and communicative relationship based on FUN and Interaction. Six classes AND five Zoom sessions with the group!

This class is NOT an obedience class. It’s a class to help you and your dog learn to work with each other and develop skills that are needed during the adolescent phase of development, resulting in better communication and enjoyment with your dog as an adult. The zoom meetings are there to be able to problem solve, commisserate and just talk dog so that you can understand your dog where they are struggling and celebrate your successes along with the other students.

Stranger Things

Stranger Things is specifically for dogs that are under-confident, scared and worried about new people and things in their environment. We work on desensitization, safe exposure and counter conditioning to Stranger Danger, sounds, movements and more! We have decoys (human volunteers) each week to “practice” on to ensure progress in a controlled environment. Puppies and Dogs Five months and up are welcome.

6 weeks and a Pre-Recorded Webinar with information and concepts you will need to work through the sessions.

Maximum of 5 dogs

In person group $550

A place for safe and individual development of confidence and safety for dog and human alike. This class is setup for the safety and comfort of the animals and humans and involves active working time and downtime.

Focused on developing relationship and trust and learning to read your dog accurately to maintain that trust.

Veterinarian recommended!
